The material and its condition determine the approach. Age alone does not trigger an automatic surcharge.
Selected dents, creases, lifting corners or edges, and presentation concerns reviewed against your goals and grading plans.
Defined sessions, review points and stopping criteria for cards that need more involved work.
Exterior holder care or separately authorized removal. Holder polishing is not treatment of the card inside.
Administration and coordination for separately approved submissions. Grader charges and shipping are outside the care price.

Clean & Inspect includes condition inspection, eligible light cleaning that you approve, key photos, brief observations, and appropriate protective packaging. Inspection-only is available at the same starting price. Pressing, humidity treatment, scratch reduction, corner or edge work, restoration, grading, and shipping are not included.
Yes. Some cleaning or restoration methods can affect grading eligibility or lead to an altered designation. Grading companies make their own decisions. Tell us your intended grader before approving treatment; we explain the proposed work and relevant risks. No service guarantees a grade or a grade increase.
Read the grading policy ↗We assess sports cards, Pokémon and other trading card games, modern cards, vintage cards, and graded holders. Construction, fragility, condition, and your goal determine the service—not age alone. Not every card or issue is suitable for treatment.
We review surface contamination, selected dents and creases, lifting corners or edges, and other presentation concerns. A review is not a promise that damage can be reversed. Missing ink or card material cannot be replaced by ordinary cleaning. A card-specific assessment comes before a treatment plan.
Submitting a request does not authorize treatment, create a payment obligation, or require you to mail cards. Apex confirms the scope and price and obtains your approval before work begins.
No duplicate inspection fee is added when the approved care package already includes that work. Eligible paid inspection is credited once toward an upgraded plan for the same card and open request. A $29.99 payment toward a $99.99 total leaves $70 before separately approved outside costs. Existing accepted credit terms remain honored.
We can review the card and holder first. Exterior holder care is separate from work on the card. Slab removal requires your specific approval and carries risk; a previous grade is not a promise of the next grade.
Start with a review request. Once the next step is agreed, use the packaging and handoff instructions supplied for your order. Arrange local or card-show drop-off with Apex before arriving. Shipping, any available coverage, and grading costs are quoted separately. Do not mail cards based only on a website form.
Timing depends on the card, treatment plan, workload, and any outside grader or carrier. We confirm an estimate for your order rather than promising one universal turnaround. Declared value is not automatic insurance; coverage and custody arrangements must be confirmed for your submission.
We stop and discuss a revised scope and price before additional paid work. Multi-session work has agreed boundaries and checkpoints—not unlimited treatment until perfect. Contact Apex with your order details about any concern after return.
No permanent-condition guarantee is made. Any approved moisture-related treatment needs appropriate drying, stabilization, and final inspection, but later environmental exposure and material condition can still matter. The proposed procedure and limitations are discussed before you approve it.
No. Apex Cards Pro is an optional, separate collector tool. You can request and use physical card services without purchasing or using the app.
